I think it’s interesting that we have to build a team for this season and also for next season… I’m not sure any of our three quarter line (or probably halves) … with the possible exception of a developing Ollie Pratt are upper level Super League quality players… fine for this year though!
I’m intrigued as to how recruitment in that space will evolve…

I would definitely take Pratt to Super League even if he's 3rd choice centre. He's a star in the making.

Yes it's hard to figure out.
We must be looking towards homegrown players when you add up the number of overseas we already have signed.Plus two are in the backs, Lino and Walmsley

Watching Pratt against Fev, his style reminded me of Percival at saints, elusive, deceptively strong and awkward to handle, I think he will be a top player in the next couple of years.
I tend to agree on not having many players in this team that would be first choice next year, particularly if we are targeting top 6. The only ones that spring to mind is Atoni, Pratt, maybe Doyle and Walmsley? and likely Rodwell if he comes. Jury is still out on if the likes of Uele, boothroyd and Vangana on if they will be good enough for SL, especially considering the quota spot they take. Big job to build a team for next year but I think we will see this team change throughout this year.

I'm not convinced Walmsley is SL quality. If the Johnstone rumours turn out to be true then he won't be playing on the left wing next season.

Neither am I to be honest mate but I think if he has a wow of a season and we have a spot he might get a chance and been the best winger in the league, theres not much else he can do.
If I'm honest, as much as I get the sentiment with Johnstone, I cant say if it didn't come off id be disappointed, he seems to have lost something at Catalan, might just be the way they play and getting his opportunities but he will be coming up 30 and as we know had his issues with injuries, I certainly wouldn't be throwing the kitchen sink to get him to come..
