There is currently an air around the club as a whole of aimless drifting with little to engage, let alone excite, the fan base. It feels to me increasingly like the nineties under Lloyd or, as you say, the 2008-11 period. It feels as if we are going nowhere with no clear plan of action.

I do wonder if Pearson has simply given up and wants out but, due to a plethora of reasons, can't find a buyer with a suitable offer?

I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.

I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

A man who lives in hell can still aspire to heaven.

Walker out for at least four weeks but Houghton will be in the squad for the Leigh game.

Pele, Scott and Tindall all possibilities

Think they’d be better served resting Houghton instead of possibly risking him tearing a hamstring flogging him for 80mins again instead of putting Brown at 9 and showing some faith in Balmforth.

Doubt any of the others will be in the 17 even if named in the 21 man squad.

Apologies for sounding a little defeatist but I really am pee’d off with it all. After feeling some optimism following the game against Catalans it was quickly removed with the continued disparity in the MRP judgements and a feeling of genuine despair in the lack of engagement from the club.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

The problem for Pearson is that Hull FC is his only income.
He has to balance the fact that is it better to be in control of the club and his income or try to sell a club which on paper is worth sweet FA

Ashworth's had his offence downgraded to C and his ban reduced to two matches. Back for the derby.

Agree it’s still an absolute disgrace and just drives the nail further in the coffin of the sport here. But then are the fools as we just don’t fight or shout loud enough and in truth are just too nice as proved by the Brown fiasco and yet no official apology from anyone or dept within the RFL.

The outcome of the hearing just amplifies the level of inconsistency within the RFL and its officiating and disciplinary depts and the disparity in not just the punishment/charges but the whole system which stinks.

Think this will very likely be my last season following the club and sport as it no longer the sport I enjoyed playing and supporting as it has systematically being ruined by incompetence people in position beyond there ability and IQ.

If that's a Hull player making that hit, he's off and banned fir 3 matches. How's that missed by everyone?
