I couldn't agree more, but will add to that his half back partner isnt much better.

Its that haunting 3 year deal that was agreed before Ellis, Powell and his team.

I also think our pack were poor until Vangana came on

That's a bit kneejerk mate at the end of the day, it's not just the fans that have hyped us up it's the pundits and the betting companies who are rarely wrong, Who's to say at this point we won't get to Wembley or win the league after that match especially played in those conditions?

Also I didn't see them on top at all for sixty minutes. They were on top going downhill in the 1st half and as soon as we started the second half the roles reversed, we were very much on top all second half and tbh should have scored more points with better handling, or better conditions whichever way you fancy, with the amount of possession and field position we had. Hood maybe should have gone over, when he fumbled on the line and there were others, like Franco not sticking the ball closer to the sticks for an easier kick which would have sealed it in normal time.

Let's be honest though we've all watched enough RL to know conditions like that are a great leveller and we'll see how we get in better condition on better pitches because that was like watching RL 30 years ago.

Good point, neither of our wingers made any yardage whatsoever. Where has the Fev pair really helped out their pack.

Big up yours to all the newbie or returning fans who expected to be watching an unbeaten championship behemoth this year. Should give us a bit more room around the ground on Friday night too. The draw at 80 minutes cost me a few quid though.

Some have already said it, our game management and Rugby IQ was very poor today.

Trying to spread the ball in the 2nd half was just inviting errors but it also prevents making decent yardage because trying to hold onto the ball or adjust it to make a pass forces players to be over cautious. Field position is everything in those conditions, hard yards and a deep kick is all that should be on the menu as the pitch condition deteriorates.

I wouldn’t have played Franco, if he’s fit I’d have gone with Croft as he’s a bigger unit and more capable of making the tough yards coming out of our 20.
Credit to Featherstone they stuck to it and played the conditions better, deservedly winning the match.

I’ve said this before, and it happened today.
The Championship is not an easy league to compete in, going to Fev, Batley, Barrow on a wet muddy day when they’re up for it and the bounce of the ball goes against you will make it difficult to win every game

Eh !!! I would have thought we wanted to keep the newbies and returners and fill the ground

It tells us that we will know play the 1895 Cup semi, 1 game away from Wembley. It tells us that we are still terrible in wet weather and Lino is totally garbage.

It tells us the coach picked the wrong team for the horrendous conditions and should have stacked the team with forwards Bain, Cozza, Vagana and Doyle on bench. It was a day for forward dominance…. And they had it. 3 hookers in 17 just didn’t work.

A winger that can get some yards on first and second tackle to help out the pack
And that score line painting on the dressing room wall as a reminder that we are not invincible

I agree with that, it's a shame Jermaine is out we've missed him and Thornley because we're not getting the meters out of our 20 that we would with them in the side. Unfortunately, Franco doesn't fill that requirement, and Walmsley seemed to spend more time slipping than making meters.

Its there for all to see, put pressure on wakey & they simply fail to win !
I m not knocking our coaches, our players still cannot deliver when faced with pressure ! Fact not Fiction.
