That’s what I thought too. I hope we can keep them for longer than two weeks.

And yet he scored a breakaway against Saints and the speedster Ritson last season?
It feels like tough times ATM, but the one big hope I have is that we will finally bring some Academy players through. Hopefully they’ll already have a bond as well, as they’ve come through the system together. Bit like the Leeds side of old. I do feel proud when I see someone like Lewis Martin come through and make an impression, after watching them play for the Academy and Reserves. We’re not going to get anyone better than Tony Smith at this moment in time, so the calls for his head on social media is expected and laughable. Just hope AP comes out at some point, tells us the covid loan is paid off, and we can start to hope again.

Yes he did but you don’t give Mc the credit where he did the classic wingers step and left ritson tackling grass….If your on about speed then..Martin same position against Wire and got chased down by Drinkwater but you don’t criticise that?

How do you know I didn't give him credit at yhe time.
It was a good step, but that doesn't stop the fact he isn't that quick and I believe he would have got caught by Kershaw yesterday.
I'd have to watch the Martin intercept from last week to see where Drinkwater started. Not all intercepts are the same.

For the alleged issue to have been fully tested, investigated and discipline handed out between Thursday's squad announcement and the game would have been quite a stretch.
For me Litten was left out as we dont need a backup full back on the bench. Hoy it feels like theres more to the story as leaving out a quota player who can cover 6 when our 1st choice 6 is out is an odd decision otherwise.
