Not been too impressed with Saints attack tonight - think the number of injuries Leigh have picked up tonight will expose their lack of squad depth in the next few weeks

Looks like it was aimed towards Asiata, was it against Saints last season where they got a few injured with Asiata being involved in the tackles. Think there was some debate over his technique causing injuries, but the tackle wasn't outlawed so nothing happened. There was quite a lot of uproar and animosity mainly from Saints fans about tackles that injured Walmsley and Paasi.

There was nothing wrong with the tackle, it just looked worse than what it was. Stains players all jumped in crying AGAIN which ended in a yellow card. Dodd later conned the ref and got Dwyer binned for a professional foul. Hurrell got Leutele head on with a tackle, he didn't cry like Stains players, hence, nothing said about it.

I haven't seen the tackle from last night so can't comment on that, I imagine there would have been thoughts back to last seasons incidents with Asiata, but last season the tackles were completely legal they looked ugly but he couldn't be punished because there was no illegal actions to punish. I'm not sure if any rule changes have been brought in this season with regards to that type of tackle, but we've already in nearly every game so far seen controversial, pedantic and inconsistent decisions from the officials which is resulting in more and more frustration for fans and driving the less hard-core element away from the game. I personally choose to watch football and cricket over rugby league now on TV.

Looks a great atmosphere and if it becomes a regular event will look to go out in the future. Stadium looks a bit basic though, they don’t even have any second hand shipping containers for their video screens!
NRL just do it so much better, at first I thought isnt early March a bit early as Vegas does get chilly on a night...but theyve found a lull in the American sports calander, NFL has finished Basketball and Ice Hockey not yet at the playoffs.
In contrast we move our Magic Weekend to the start of the Premier League season then seem surprised that Newcastle are busy
