Good decision, not nearly as bad a tackle as it looked at first.

Totally agree, the game has been officiated well tonight. VR a bit slow but that's minor compared to what we have seen in the first 2 rounds.

Nice try for Thewlis. King and Currie did well.

We have wasted possession this half but a good win.

Dufty well earned MOM

Agreed although I think Currie and Fitzgibbon were also fantastic. Special shout out to Leon Hayes too, an excellent effort in attack and defence and some nice work from Drinkwater in the first half.

Good to see Vaughan being spelled this year.

Better second half but I was annoyed to see him drift in towards the attacking centre leaving Senior to score out wide.

No penalties for 10m offside
No penalties for not playing the ball correctly
No penalties for markers not being square
No penalties for head high shots
No penalties for dissent

This must be the first time we've gone through a half like that!
Certainly I can't remember one in all my years of watching.

Vaughan immense as usual.
Interesting the subtle changes we did after they scored. Slightly deeper and timing slightly better. Small margins.

Second half - disappointing if I'm honest. We got sloppy.

Thewlis had a poor game imo with several dropped balls and some defensive issues, but I wonder how much that early head knock took out of him.
I've been concerned about the shots he's taken since he joined the 1st team.
By comparison Ashton rarely seems to get hit in that way.

Dufty was good, and again Currie, Harrison, Walker, Hayes all did well.
Ratch showed his worth - again.

A few errors BUT overall a pleasing performance. Thought Hayes was great he's certainly not one to be overawed. Early days but we do look a lot more balanced as a squad in comparison to recent seasons and it seems a bit of team spirit.

While it wasn’t a perfect display it was good to see the attack looking more refined. No doubt getting used to the game plan coming more naturally and the combinations becoming more familiar with each other. Pitch not being a total quagmire probably helped as well.

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Yes true. All round improvement from last week.

Hayes not looking out of place at all.

Thewlis to work on defensive decision making.
