Frustrating to lose Sutcliffe as he was good on Friday. We might get a full team out one day!
I'd like to see us go with the same spine as last week with as I thought we looked at lot better with Nu Brown at 9.
If we're struggling in the forwards still then maybe Houghton can play 13.

Great that justice has prevailed but in respect of the charges given we really need to sort that out.

You're telling me that they never considered using common sense with accidental head clashes when putting together their ridiculous framework?

I don't even sense it as justice, the damage was done on Friday when it mattered. It does however fill me with more confidence having him and Hoy available for Sunday.

To me the whilst some common sense has prevailed with Nu Brown not being sanctioned, personally I see their actions and statement more a case of rubbing further salt in to a gaping wound.
What is clear is the RFL are just completely clueless and incompetent in almost every single department and the poor, weak and frankly pathetic explanation that it has been down to a lack of clarification of the head contact rules just shows how unorganised the RFL, Officials and MRP are as a group. These are the groups of people entrusted with this sport and they are destroying it through sheer stupidity and incompetence,
Yes mistakes happen but the Nu Brown incident just highlighted how poorly governed the sport is with the huge disparity shown already in the first 2 rounds played. The damage was done with one of if not the poorest decisions made in RL and yet Griffiths and Moore carry on as if nothing has happened because its deemed a 'clarification issue' instead of truthfully very poor standards of officiating from top to bottom.

If the RFL seriously believe that its been down purely to a lack of clarification then they really are in cloud cuckoo land.

Not surprisingly its just another mealy mouthed statement from the faceless wonders within the RFL instead of them coming out, fronting up and holding their hands up and being honest that they have f#*ked up well and truly but will put things right.
Again we just get another in the list of so called excuses that they think will pacify people so they can keep their heads buried in the sand hoping it will go away with no accountability whatsoever in the establishment at any level.

The RFL are just not fit for purpose

As for Sutcliffe I think his ban is harsh as having watched it several times I can't work out if he collides with Griffiths or if Griffith actually stumbles and Sutcliffe tries the grab him. However regardless what's does concern me is the poor position Griffiths decides to take up in the line of Warringtons attack (further example of poor officiating standards and understanding of the game).
Think its just another poor decision by the RFL and giving with one hand and taking away with another.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Whilst the Nu Brown incident was bad for you guys and not a good look for Super league at all, it's probably going to end up being a good thing, in that it's hopefully forced the RFL and the MRP that they can't referee the new rules to the letter of the law, somethings happen that need to be looked at with a bit of common sense, so moving forward were still gonna a shed load of cards but they'll hopefully be justified.

I don't disagree with the point you raise but for me (and I doubt i'm alone in my thoughts) I have no confidence in the RFL or those involved in the relevant departments to resolve this. As yet again they just hide behind what I can only class as an empty and frankly pathetic statement with seemingly no accountability being taken for the mess they have created.

hopefully Barons' injury was precautionary and we will go with Litten in the centre again, keep Hoy and Smith in the halves, Brown at 9, Ligi back gives us a bit more muscle in the forwards, win this one, don't care how close the score line is or ugly the game gets, just get the 2 points on the board....already written the Catalan game off and kick start our season with most players back from injuries/bans vs Leigh two weeks on saturday

Well I’m very surprised brown didn’t get a ban, sutcliffe was always going to be a ban I’m afraid.

Hope Tuime back as not a big fan of litten in the centre. Gets bumped off easy and doesn't make the hard yards as still very lightweight.

They've held there hands up though and kind of admitted that they got things wrong to start with, I'm hopeful (but not over confident) that we won't see similar issues again now,
