Yeah Frawley’s kicking game was off against HKR I thought; or the kick pressure was just poor. He’s been decent overall - I think he has some errors in his game but I like how he plays overall.
Mom I have high expectations of. He isn’t fully integrated yet and he needs game time and most likely better conditions to show what he can do.

We've seen that early kick play before and as much as it's to be applauded, without the 'bread and butter stuff' connecting, it'll just be a gimmick as before and another isolated get out of jail desperate play.
I see tony smiths copping some flack for short kick offs from the FC fans where we invested a lot to practice them and have since ditched them (Millars absence noted).
We ditched the short kick offs after about 3 games into last season.

He looks strong and defensively solid, but can't help thinking we will miss the running threat of Macdonald. Not sure he has that. He clearly has excellent pedigree, but so did Tetevano. Hope he settles in and shows what he can do.
Momirosvki is a totally different player to Macdonald, he's more of a traditional centre, fans are wanting structure, he will give that and he's a solid defender, Handley will score more with him as his centre partner

Well worth all the disrupted game flow during preseason. I really want to like RS and I really want him to succeed but some of his stuff like this just doesnt sit well and I can't see him being single minded enough with the plan to compete consistently at the top.

How much disrupted game flow was there during pre season? How many times did they use them against Hull Kr? Or the younger players against Bradford? Or do you mean solely the boxing day game friendly when it was half a team having a run out?

we hardly did it in this pre season either, its just sounds like a trope that people can't let go now.
The first half of the boxing day game was destroyed by the tactic, even that as a continuation of last years experiment just isn't right.
It speaks to his ethos with a significant focus on gimmicks and short cuts and in my opinion isn't showing thar he can get a team to perform the fundamentals well on a consistent basis. I really can't see him succeeding for these reasons. And no, I don't hope to be able to bang that drum in another 8 games, I hope he has me scoffing on my words.
