We didn’t do it at home with 25,000 fans behind us and a ref who got it wrong. Let’s not forget his incorrect ball steal call when he forgot what the rules were as Penrith were pressing. It was an incompetent display by both him and Kendall.
Are we only allowing the result to be looked at through anything going against Penrith then? That the only way the game could’ve gone was to Penrith and that some questionable 6-again calls and high shots going unpunished on Wigan players don’t count?

There’ll always be refs calls going either way but that Wardle try won the game for Wigan and he needed an Uber to get to the line from where he was tackled. It was an awful decision compounded by the VR not having the balls to tell him it was way short of the line.
Have a look at any of the clips on social media and tell me that it was a try.

You've yet to tell me the analogy is ridiculous. You never should have won, but you did. Seems pretty spot on to me. That's unless you've got an inflated opinion of your team (which hoi obviously have).
Still no well done too. Keep being bitter...

We were underdogs without question, not sure we were the same odds with the bookies as Douglas was to beat Tyson. Not by a long way.
And again how can you slate Saints fans for going missing on here but then they aren’t allowed to give an opinion because it goes against the party line.

If that try hadn’t been given, there’s about 35 mins or whatever that would’ve been different. It’s just sour from you to pick that as the only contributing factor to us winning. I’ve seen plenty of screenshots where there’s an argument it was a try as well. It’s contentious but crying over it won’t get you anywhere.

Who said you aren't allowed an opinion? You've just made that one up.
There's having opinions, I had one you don't agree with, and being that salty to not even say well done. I don't think your achievement is what you'd have us believe, but I still said well done.

As I’ve said the only reason I’ve come on is because it was intimated I had gone missing. So I’ve given my thoughts. Quite why you are seeking my validation I’ve no idea. It’s in the history books as a Wigan win despite the controversy.
What I find nauseating now is the comments that Peet is coming out with. I was a big supporter of him initially, a talented young English coach who spoke the truth.
However now it seems that only his players are mates with each other, only his club does community work, only Wigan players are in the trenches with each other. It’s as though no other SL club has a winning culture and it’s starting to grate.
It actually suits in a way as we are flying hugely under the radar. There was even a poster on here that said HKR will win a Grand Final before we do again.
I just hope we can make the play offs based on that.

The Bitterness is Growing - Love it Was getting sick of everyone liking Peet as well If Wardles try hadn't been given and the 1 on 1 ball steal hadn't been penalised Penrith would deffo have won by 30 or 40 or more I also feel sorry for the Aussies, because they deffo don't whinge unnecessarily. They deffo don't like the cards all stacked in their favour and they deffo Don't react badly to losing Having witnessed in person their 2008 world cup final loss they are the epitome of Good sports Overall a very good day, just wished we'd lost to keep everyone else happy.

He is only talking about what his guys are doing and how the culture has changed from almost to being winners, surely he is allowed that.I will let him know that he is beginning to grate on you,I am sure he will be upset at the thought. One point I do agree is that Wardle's try wasnt over the line it was infact on the line dragged over by the Penrith player. You will make the playoffs maybe 3rd as I predicted last year.
