It's hard to see what he does even on multiple views, that's even slowing it down and watching it half-speed, then following Mason into where it had already kicked off by those from Siddall and he seems to go in and tries to separate people, where they've got that he swung a punch, I can't see it at all and I think the club thinks exactly the same. I couldn't see him swing a punch or escalate the situation in any way shape or form. The sending-off should have been enough of a punishment which was on the whole a bit of a nonevent.
It all came off the back of quite a fair bit of antagonizing of Trinity players by Siddall.
They seemed to go into 'looking for a fight' mode, with the constant head slapping they started to do, which the ref should have noticed and stopped straight away, because refs do in SL because it usually just deteriorates one way when you let a player from one side lay their hands on the oppos heads etc, plus the crap talking, even screaming into our player's faces when they scored, it defo got a bit weird watching it, but all that nonsense hadn't knocked us off our game. Tbh watching it if it had been me on the end of those slaps to the head it would have driven me around the bend, I hate getting slapped around my head even playfully, it makes my skin crawl
It comes from the touch judge report rather than just video evidence.
And the size of the ban would probably be 1) if he had something last season too (can't remember) and 2) that he ran in and caused more of a problem.
But still 3 matches seems excessive.
