Dwyer looked lively in the friendly, but understandably behind Walker and Powell. Good luck to him, and it frees up a (presumably small) bit of cap space.
It makes sense for him to leave, walker is capable of big minutes and Powell is ahead of him in the pecking order as well. Hayes and ratchford could cover 9, in the event of a few injuries/ suspensions.

With injuries, HIA absences and silly bans, clubs are going to need lots of squad depth this season, so I'd only be OK with Dwyer leaving if we can bring someone else in as a result of it. I'm hoping that must be the reason behind it.

From whats been rumoured, Dwyers wage is not small.

My thoughts exactly. A few injuries & unnecessary bans could leave clubs with seriously depleted squads & affect what is left of the product on the pitch.
