Cricky Wires 1/16 on where 7/1. Wow never known odds like that. As most have said let's have a dig and get a score on the board. Looking forward to seeing how the youngster's go. Nothing to lose.
once a black and white always a black and white COYH
what is wrong with this club of ours?we go from one crisis to another.we are one of the top clubs with a great fanbase, but the way we seem to be run is all wrong .we have a chairman who seems to have lost touch with the fans and an head coach who is far to laid back in situations like this.the whole club seems flat to me.

Tony Smith has named his 21-man squad ahead of Friday’s Betfred Super League Round Two clash against Warrington Wolves, in association with Jadan Press. With the Black & Whites possessing a significant list of injuries and suspensions, with at least 14 first-team players unavailable for the fixture, Smith has named a young squad for the trip to the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Seven changes have been made to the squad that was named ahead of last week’s Round One fixture, with Harvey Barron, Denive Balmforth, Matty Laidlaw, Jeylan Hodgson, Lennon Bursell, and Macca Harman all called into the squad, while Charlie Severs has also been named having been recalled from his loan spell at Betfred Championship side York Knights.
The seven incoming players replace Herman Ese’ese, Franklin Pele and Ligi Sao, all of whom drop out through suspension, as well as Danny Houghton through head injury protocols, Joe Cator through a hamstring tear, and Cam Scott through a calf issue – Zach Jebson also drops out of the squad.
Liam Tindall, (thumb), Carlos Tuimavave (calf), and Brad Fash (ankle), all of whom missed Round One, remain unavailable, while Jake Trueman (Achilles), Mitieli Vulikijapani (knee), Kye Armstrong (shoulder), and Cobie Wainhouse (knee) continue their recovery from longer-term issues.
The full 21-man squad can be found below:
1 – Tex Hoy 4 – Liam Sutcliffe 5 – Darnell McIntosh 7 – Fa’amanu Brown 11 – Jayden Okunbor 15 – Jordan Lane 16 – Jack Ashworth 19 – Morgan Smith 20 – Jack Brown 21 – Will Gardiner 23 – Davy Litten 24 – Nick Staveley 25 – Harvey Barron 26 – Lewis Martin 28 – Denive Balmforth 29 – Charlie Severs 30 – Matty Laidlaw 31 – Jack Walker 33 – Macca Harman 35 – Jeylan Hodgson 38 – Lennon Bursell
Always the Optimist never the Pessimist. Glass Half full not half empty man me.
All I can ask for is a commited display with less dumb errors, its a good chance for some of our young players to make a name for themselves and potentially oust some of our underperforming 1st teamers in weeks to come
