If the issue is with his calf (and unless anyone on here has reliable proof that the issue is otherwise, which I am failing to see at the moment) then he has to be fully recovered before he returns. If he comes back too soon, his calf is liable to pop first game back and he will be out for weeks, even months, if it tears badly.
Can't believe some on here are suggesting he should simply have a pain killing jab and play on! There'll be a high risk he breaks down fully in that instance. As an experienced head in the side, we need him back, but not to the extent he plays one game and then we don't see him until July or something.
It's his body, he must know whether or not it's up to the rigours of 80 minutes. We'll just have to trust him on this I reckon.
I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

Yes some really uncalled for posts on here. Since he joined us Carlos has been nothing less than professional. I'm sure he's as frustrated as the rest of us at his injury problems (more so, of course) and for people to suggest he's swinging the lead is really poor form.

Looks like Staveley, Balmforth and Gardiner set to feature against Wire and looks like Severs has been recalled and will also feature according to Smith in his interview with Dan Tomlinson
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

FC are 11/1 to win a 2 horse race. Given 21 points start. I'll be taking the 21 points start as a kinda novelty bet. May even pop $2 on the 11/1 for a laugh. Have we ever been 11/1 to win a match? I remember in 2005 we were 3/1 to win the CC final in Cardiff.
