Hoping we've tightened our defence round the ruck up too and don't have Parcell, Litten and Lewis running rings round our forwards all evening

If we continue with the usual on field indicipline it will kill us really need to win this . A big loss tonight and i dont think Adam Pearson and the loyal fanbase can take much more, but a win would put some confidence back into the players, and a bit of excitement and optimism back in to the fans bloody hell adrenaline kicking in as i am writing this

interesting call on Hoy but was leaked a couple of days ago on here.Future for him here doesnt look bright for him unless injuries give him a game It does give the option to change things at halfback if there is no spark there or Walker gets injured and i guess he could also fill a back position in a crisis Still a weak bench with no real impact player. Would have started Ashworth and held Pele back with a couple of long spells off the bench

Agree it’s a pretty weak bench with Hoy and Lane, struggling to see how Lane makes the 17. Can only think Hoys place is as cover for Walker/Smith or to possibly to allow us to move Smith to 9 if Houghton goes to 13 or sits out for a short spell. Would much rather have seen Staveley in ahead of Lane as been more of a liability on the field the past 2 years.
Win or lose at least we’ll get some idea of where we are at this season in the first meaningful game.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
