Just cant see where our points will come from
Hoy is nowhere near good enough as a six so this is a weak area also.
Love to be wrong

We get points up the middle in my opinion. Rovers forward pack isn't their strong point. We need people on the shoulder of Pele, Ese, Sao, everytime they carry the ball. They all like to get their arm free and against a lighter pack I suspect they will get a few chances. Having said that Rovers are good at getting men in the tackle and slowing things down. But we will struggle to go round them, going to have to go through them with a good offload game and strong support play.

I remember when we won the last floodlight trophy. Rovers where star studded. Our back line consisted of a full back who nobody would sign due to him being a hot head. A winger who had flat feet. A centre who we signed from Rovers who was in his mid 30s and really was slow. The other centre I believe we signed from a lower division?. A winger who we got from fev. And the oldest halfback pairing I remember. A right motley back division . But we tonked em. Always believe we can do it.

So as with last season he's likely to miss the first ten rounds of Super League. Unfortunately this year he'll also miss the start of the Challenge Cup so we have to hope we cope better without him than we did in 2023.

Oh j see your point. But I always believe we can win. Yes it's often a misplaced faith but that's just me I guess. It's the hope that kills you

Another chance to see the 2016 Craven Park derby tonight on Sky.

Just to depress you all even more the team that day was

Shaul, Michaels, Fonua, Yeaman, Naughton, Tuimavave, Sneyd, Taylor, Houghton, Watts, Minichiello, Pritchard, Ellis
Subs: Feka, Green, Bowden, Washbrook

Id take the risk and start Jebson at second row, Lane has been in awful form and making costly errors and did again against wigan.

Jebson at second row along with okunbor, would free up Sao and Ashworth to bulk the pack up off the bench , rather than play second row.

Sorry just dont think Lane deserves a place, needs to earn it back.

Don’t think many would argue re Lane as he been poor for the past 2 seasons and can’t see there being enough of an improvement to warrant him getting in the 17. Would prefer to see the club bring on the youth ahead of Lane.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

One thing you can Guarantee though with Lane is that he will give away at least 3 six agains and miss several tackles
