Not a great week with Tom Johnstone also turning us down.
It`s seems strange that Tom Burgess wouldn`t tell Sam about Huddersfield`s offer and Sam would then have informed his Warrington bosses.
I can understand that the Warrington hierarchy wouldn`t have have been aware of Huddersfield bid though the official communications.

Something doesn`t ring true?
I asked this question when I was told, as surely the brothers speak to each other ? It all seems really strange. I could of course give my opinion, but that matters for nothing. I'd rather just post the facts that I'm told.

Yeah, he's just a little bit good... as you can probably now tell I was being a little bit sarcastic with the 'as backup' comments
I love the way the union journalist states Manu has a dream of playing for the All Blacks. In the video, when asked about the possibility of playing for them he just says "Yeah, I guess that would be cool?"

I think he’s already signed with Racing 92, just waiting to be confirmed. Why anyone would choose good wine, fine food and nice weather over gentrified Stockton Heath is beyond me?

Depends on money offered to them, which is the first thing that entices players to clubs, especially the ones in the latter end of their career, you’d be surprised the players that are being linked with Wakefield for next season .

If you believe what’s written in the paper in Sydney, he’s been offered 4 years at $ 1.5 million AUD or $ 780,000 GBP per season to play Rugby Union in France

Pah! He hasn't had a look at Simon Moran's offer yet, with the additional perk of a mansion with swimming pool overlooking Hill Cliffe, and a 4 year subscription to the Costa Unlimited Coffee app for use in Stockton Heath. He can get his French red wine in Bargain Booze if need be.
