Tbf… I would probably go… I once went to watch the team play at Alfreton… which was little more than a park field…

But the thought of standing on a Halifax hill in the middle of winter wouldn’t thrill me!

Get siddal on a good day and it’s beautiful up on the tops as I did on my last visit , which was cut dramatically short when my grandson broke his wrist in the opening exchanges and we spent the rest of the day into the evening at Halifax royal . But boy it’s open to the elements and I bet bleak when the weather turns , I’d like to think of it more like character building for those brave fans making the pilgrimage up onto the tops than anything else , and a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a very great amateur club, who have churned out plenty of super league players in their time , even Shirley Crabtree who then went on to be famous as Big Daddy in the wrestling ring

You’ll definitely need it if the weather turns nasty :)

Just one vowel short of having the perfect name for a referee
"Are you Blind referee?"
"No I'm Bland"

I thought you were dropping an ‘e’ in after the B

I really like Powell's attitude.
He wants to play the best team he can and get them used to playing together.

Yes Ketty they are a good club and like you say have had good players go to good SL clubs in Warrington, Wigan, Leeds , but in the past they have had the pleasure of cherry picking players of other clubs to form super teams, suppose that they must be doing something right to be able to do so. By the way, did you put your tooth under the pillow :D :thumb:
