Very disappointing Abe Froman contribution to this recruitment thread - I got very excited seeing his name pop up only to see him asking about a positional change for an opposition player. Don't ruddy post on this thread Abe unless it's juicy for the love of god.

Interesting. Warrington wanted him as a Centre. We pulled out of negotiations with his agent because he was insisting on a clause that guaranteed him the full back position.

Well, I could tell you that if Tom Burgess doesn't get an offer in the NRL that beats what we've offered him (definite marquee wage) he's as good as nailed on. But I'd be guilty of over-sharing.

I can see why we didn`t sign him now.
We don`t need a fullback and I wouldn`t be offering Dufty a new deal after this season either, with Josh Thewlis destined to play there, and Cai Taylor-Wray emerging too. We can use the quota spot on a position where we have less talent.

Yeah Hiku was FB mainly but slotted into Centre and caused equal havoc! He's a class apart and I'm in danger of going overboard after 1 friendly. And apologies to Ratticus and in keeping with Wire rumours, erm yeah, Burgess is nailed on, honest.

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.
