Reliably informed that we have ourselves a new player imminently when all the paper work is processed. But to be honest I think we will get drip fed players over the next 12 months or so as we build a super league competitive squad . Jermaine has already stated that this is his last hurrah as I suspect will Gale and probably a few more besides, who will look to keep in the championship .Listening to Powell on the heritage podcast he has been given the remit to make us a successful club in super league and that’s why him and his team have taken up the gauntlet to deliver just that .

He'd be great but I'm happy with the team we have right now.
Obviously he’s not told me the name(old loose lips) as obviously there are formalities to conclude before the player is officially announced, but the boss seems happy , so I’m sure we will be

Personally think we're covered with 'middles' but appreciate some of these signings may be with a view to 2025 recruitment with Pitts, Ashurst, Griffin and Bowden not getting any younger , however we may end up with too many non-fed players if we get back into SL, or at least leave us little room to bring in proven quality.
Would like to think now the coaches n back room staff have had time to run an eye over our rosta for this season they can see going forwards where we may need to strengthen. And players will be coming onboard at regular intervals so as to hit the ground running if we get that super league nod
