As a safety professional, I highly doubt their assessment!

Its crazy really hope daryll picks as strong side as possible and we absolutely slaughter them as the fact there playing at home makes them feel they have a chance

Been with both grandkids in last 2/3 years , it’s not easy parking anywhere nowadays , I’ve managed to get in the carpark no problem when I went with the wakefield Hawks . Id go so far as to say the club was run better than I’d seen at wakey at the time and I’m sure they’ll have burger vans n the whole shebang ready to lighten your wallet . It’s one game and will give the club such a buzz . Don’t forget without these grass root clubs the game would definitely die a death , we owe it to them after all, they won the right to entertain us fair n square

You got lucky with parking to be fair ive had many a issue and the road outside is narrow to say the least.you make some fair points but if your not in a postion to stand for 80 mins ya not going is that not discrimination and if you do go and you dont get a front row you not seeing much

Where are they going to situate the burger vans etc, if it's as bad as stated on here?

£10 a ticket, to stand on grass around a touchline, to watch a bunch of amateurs take us on, what planet are the Siddal people on ?

I don't think they are forcing you to go.

I think that's a fair price to watch the favourites to win the Championship.

Still think they'd be better playing it elsewhere though.

£10 a ticket x 1000 = £10,000 less costs then shared 50/50 between the clubs

What attendance do you think we’d get if it was at Belle Vue?
My guess is approx 5000 with a ticket price of say £16 = £80,000 less costs then shared 50/50

I’m going to be bold here, not arrogant but maybe tempting fate, they won’t beat us whether it’s played at Siddal or Belle Vue so why not make some money but more importantly give their players a great experience playing in front of a big crowd in a nice stadium.

Any way you look at it the decision to play at Siddal just doesn’t make sense

Completely agree.

An amateur club drawing a top club is always about the money and experience.
They have little chance of winning but if they did its only another chance to get a big club and money. They are not going to keep going. So take the money and invest in the club.

But it isn’t as bad as stated , there was a breakfast hut situated down the side of the car park last time I visited and plenty of room for more if they so desire . We will be their for a few hrs at the most , a cracking club run way better than ours was by the looks , but by the sounds of this chat ,Siddal is sounding more like a gulag than an amateur club . You know us British we like a good moan about anything and everything .if people aren’t happy with the situation stay away , they probably don’t want or need negative people at the club pulling it to bits , boy we’ve had enough over the years dragging our club through the mire ,but if you do go , I think you’ll find a hidden gem of a club
