But that's what he said when Vagana signed not when he arrived. I'm sure they are looking at someone but I just mean it's not like this journalist knows something. He's just using that old comment to draw a conclusion we already know.

Ellis said he has put aside 100k for a player. Let’s see what happens, David Nofoaluma has just left the tigers. Although we probably don’t need a winger, just shows what quality can drop out of the NRL through the season.
We left squad numbers 17 and 18 empty didn't we for a couple of future signings. Since then Vagana will probably take one of those I presume, but as the club says if they find the right guy, there's potential for one more to come in before the season starts. As PB above said they've left a good bit of cash to one side to get someone of good quality anyway.
