I think we need to be realistic, the cost for a full season of Wigan t,v. works out at less than 75p per week!
They will stream the Wakefield and Hull friendlies live with commentary. The cost of attending those two games alone would probably be more than the annual subscription. Could it be improved, certainly but I do think it's reasonable value for money particularly the academy live games which many people find difficult to attend.

Sorry I forgot, the club can do no wrong.
I don't think it's unrealistic.
No real rugby content since Oct and a friendly game in the Midlands in Jan. It's perfect for streaming and getting new viewers + a thanks for those who keep their subscription.
The club actually said they'd do realtime updates on X, which was changed on the day to just HT/FT updates. Are we really saying no one could have put a few posts up on Twitter to say who'd scored?

Couldn't see any Chromecast icon on screen. Got it working through my TV though. Didn't know it could do that, but looks fine to me. Watching last night's game now
I messaged the Wigan TV Help to ask about casting from my phone and whether it was something they would be implementing. This is their response:
"Wigan TV is supported to work on desktop, laptop, tablet, and smartphone, whilst we know it can be casted in numerous ways and that Wigan TV works on some smart TV browsers, it is not a supported function.
If you own an Apple TV box or Google Chromecast, it is possible to use these devices to cast from phone or laptop to your TV."
Whilst I can watch it via my smart Tv browser, its way too much bother for me I'm afraid. I'll stick with it for this weekend's game, but I'm bailing out after the initial month's subscription. Still pretty good value though compared to trailing over to Hull. I've no idea how difficult it is to add Chromecast to the service. I know that Our League didn't have it at first, but have had it for a while now. I'm hoping that SuperLeague+ has the Chromecast functionality and it just sems that the club are missing out by not having it (or even considering it apparently).
I appreciate that some of you will have found various ways to stream this to TV (HDMI cable via laptop etc), but I cba. I just want it to work with no hassle.
Sorry it didn't work for you TonyM19. I don't know for sure, but I don't think it is something Wigan can add to their website as such, I think it is the device or browser you cast the video from. What browser are you using on your phone? I set it up my dad's desktop to cast Wigan TV using the Chrome browser, to his Chromecast device plugged into a fairly old TV. Is there a Chrome browser app you could use on your phone that would cast the video?
I could also chromecast from Apple devices to the Chromecast stick using the TV Cast Chromecast app, which was free. Lots of ads on the app unless you pay, but none interrupting the stream. Hope one of those options helps you out.
On my android mobile if I pull the menu down from the top I've got an option called "Smart View - Mirror Screen" which allows me to view my mobile screen on my telly via my firestick. Does you phone not have a similar function?
I can mirror my screen to the TV, but the quality of the video on there is shocking. With Watch NRL, there is an icon on the top of the screen that you click and it just casts to the tv. I can log in via my TV and the quality is ok. It's just a pain to do it that way. Just been spoiled. No big drama, but I'm not sticking with it without this facility
