Certainly are.

I’m told it looks like the cabling got damaged during the new stand being built, hardly unknown in construction. It’s actually been an issue for a few weeks. Contractors back in on Monday. Apparently the last lot were from Bradford so we won’t be using them!

Let’s hope it’s fixed by March, wouldn’t want your ten million travelling fans disappointed would we.

Oh well if you’re sat there in the dark you can be thankful that you’re sat on a nice plastic seat and not one that’s wooden with crumbling asbestos falling on you from above.

The rest of the ground must have been a bit dodgy to navigate though given it’s falling to bits. Be a bit hair raising climbing down from one of those death trap portacabins in the pitch black.

Have Wankfield been told by the RFL they've been gifted a place in the final even if they don't win the right to be there like superleague status for 2025?

Tickets now on sale for the first league game and despite Vastman claiming they've sold the new stand out (and it only being a paltry 2500 capacity) all our tickets at the club shop are in that stand. Talking out of his booty!

Seriously though EOC should just print off comments on social media coming from that club, it's fans and players and stick them on the changing room wall. In fact every coach in the championship should as there's no need for a team talk with the guff spouted by the deluded nutters.

I'm not expecting anything other than a big win for Wakey.

The result in the league is immaterial as the RFL's pet club have already been told they're going up whether they win the league or not so who cares? Most pointless season in history they've killed the championship off.

No Wakefield fan has claimed we will win the Championship, it is however what we hope for, get over yourself.

As for comparing grounds, I don't think it's possible to look more ignorant than you just have, tragic.

You do realize that the North stand was also rebuilt last year to the latest ground safety guidelines, and has a safety certificate to prove it, grow up. The west stand has poor viewing angles biu the terracing is only 40 years old, hardly a deathtrap is it.

For someone whose ground is an old rubbish dump, who's terracing puts you miles from the action and is starting to crumble, has few facilities for the average fan and none of which they own, is utterly laughable. BV on the other hand has a modern full sized pitch that doesn't cut up after a light mist, modern white light floodlighting, permanent big screen, 3 Restaurants, four indoor bars, three outdoor bars, four food outlets, upgraded toilet facilities all around the ground and 12 executive boxes. Not Wembley I agree, but way better than Odsal. Oh, and I forgot to mention a brand new 2,400 capacity state of the art stand.

Please feel free to visit our re-vamped deathtrap, we have nothing to hide.

The DIY kitchens stadium where the taps don’t work. Talk about tin pot. Look at our flash knew stand - we can’t host any matches but it looks good.

Imagine if they were in superleague. I doubt sky would be very happy having games re-arranged because the home side can’t get their act together.
