@ Miserybusiness, does not really mean much 1000 v 20 posts if all the 1000 are saying the same thing, why don’t you give a breakdown of what they are saying / proposing to do about it.
The last time this was brought up, the rugby club tried to have conversations / meetings / joint talks with the football club but they were not interested in a joint venture.
If all the 1000 posts are saying that ‘Fax’ should not be there, don’t pay their way, ruin the pitch, ect, blah, blah blah, the usual diatribe and diarrhoea it will not achieve anything useful.

Silly app won’t let me quote fax in Asia but you’re predominantly right , egg chasing, frock wearing ,pitch ruining ,dying sport watching tony abbot loving **** squatters out pretty much covers 95% of what’s on there . There forum is busier than here but most rugby fans are on fax fans forum on fb which I prefer, least when someone abuses you, you know who it is .

Oh and just for a bit of ironic fun after pages and pages of abuse insinuating I was thick they accused me of hate speech because I called the main ‘ high n mighty ‘ protagonist hoddie , nobbie. Oh infairness I did say the underpaid rent was gonna be used to put a Chris anderson statue outside the east stand and the south stand would be called the tony abbot stand .

I dont think its fair to say most of the posts on theshaymen.net are mostly anti-fax. I think most Town fans know that both clubs need to work together.

I do think some are still deeply unhappy with how Fax have behaved since moving to the Shay though - including the supporters. I remember the abuse I got on here when Tony Abbott was trying to buy the Shay. My home address was posted on this forum all because I felt private ownership of the stadium was a risk to both clubs (and still do). And I hate to say it, but I was proven right with what went on to happen with TA businesses.

I follow Halifax Panthers fans forum and Matt Shaw’s post regarding the Shay attracted 12 replies..unless I’m missing something,there is no real interest and passion from our supporters in social media.I take no interest in the IMG findings but didn’t that highlight our issue too ? The Shaymen.net for volume would compare favourably with championship football sides on 1700 regular game attendees as per rugby.Why such a disparity ? and as Bubba says it goes much deeper than 90% of it being people spouting the same bollx all the time.

Just be cause Fax fans aren’t shouting and screaming all over social media doesn’t meant we aren’t interested or care about the current situation with the Shay. If the football side hadn’t been so piggy headed in the past this situation may have been avoided.
