Not sure what’s going on but we all bought on release and are planning to get there early to get good seats. The option wasn’t there to book specific seats so I won’t be best pleased if I’m asked to move by another fan. In fact i likely won’t move as we will all be sat together.

I also work 9-5 Monday to Friday along with the other adults going so usually can’t get to the club shop.

Surely this change can’t be right.

Common sense would say that allocated ticket holders would be directed to their allocated seats whilst non-allocated ticket holders would be directed elsewhere ??

Makes sense to me... :)
And tbh I wouldn't mind where I was sat in the Neil Fox Stand.

We're all Trin aren't we?

But you wouldn't know a seat had been allocated to someone else until they rocked and said "excuse me"...

The logical thing to do here is say, yes we are allocating tickets now, but that's just a dry run of the software - sit where you like for this game, with allocation to be use for future games, once the software is proved.

The tickets for the York away game are unallocated but specific to one of the 6 sections. Ours are in SC.
You would expect that the early release of unallocated tickets for our East Stand are similarly within specified sections and that subsequently allocated seats are in areas outside these initials ones. Sounds simple to me. My ticket has no indication of where I'm sitting other than the letter T and a 16 digit number btw.

It was Wednesday FIL.
I have two stand season tickets but as they aren’t issued till next month, I can’t prove much unless I find my email confirmation but the hassle is a pain.

Looks like they have left a block for those who bought non allocated tickets from shop. I bought allocated tickets last night tried to get where our season ticket seats will be but couldn’t because all blocked out. There will be plenty of room just a few teething problems, won’t be a problem when season starts as most will be season ticket holders.

I purchased along with our group on the day of release where it was all unallocated and sit where you like. We have always planned to sit in the seats around where are ST’s are in mid block to the left.

These and almost all around are blocked out now. With no communication other than we can sit anywhere when we purchased.

And that is exactly what we will do if it comes to it. Why should we be punished for being amongst the first to purchase a ticket.

I have seen a few free blocks - basically the end blocks and two very small sections third way down each side. We don’t want to sit at the ends. And with a week to go I wonder if these will reduce even more.

I’ll be frank that if this is the case then it’s not just teething problems and will cause some arguements on the day.

I will call the club shop tomorrow and find out what’s going on. Perhaps they are just testing and you can regardless of what your ticket says sit where you want as originally planned.

I assumed the seats that’s been blocked booked in The middle of the stand are for them who purchased in shop. Everyone else can book all other available seats

There weren’t any bookable seats on release. We purchased online and it was just unreserved for whole stand. We already sorted what time we will be there and a rough idea of seating to the left centre.

Fast forward to now and I’ve just gone through ticket on website and you now select seats with a number of them booked out.

It’s actually poor is that. I can let things go for teething problems but this has nightmare and shooting themselves in the foot all over it.

Would have been easier to just carry on with it all unreserved first come first served or have seat selection from day 1.

Anyway I will call the club shop and sort it out tomorrow. Hopefully it can be sorted over the phone as I can’t get to the club shop.
