As I mentioned to a few folk on here a while ago via PM's, SB see's him as the Super League equivalent of Joseph Sua'ali'i. King & Tai have got real competition for there starting positions in the team.
I'd love it if burgess played wrench and lindop as our centres.

Was about to post the same. I hope Wrench kicks on. No offence to King, but he wasn't anywhere near as effective at the age that Wrench is now. You can see some real sparkle in attack from both he (Wrench) and Lindop. Of course King could prove me wrong, and I hope he does. There's a real lack of quality British centres at the moment, especially exciting attacking ones like the Aussies and NZ have.

Speaking of which... Do you know Lindop's background Abe? There's no info on him on the club website, but I know that he's from south of the town as he went to school at Bridgewater High. Did he grow up playing union in Appleton before taking up RL at college? That could make him even more attractive to the RFU!

Not sure on the Union bit but he played RL for Latchford for years.
Encouraging news. I know Wood has come from Wigan but it would be good for the club if the younger players can provide true competition for starting spots so we don’t get into a position when established players negotiate contract extensions and we feel like we have no choice other than pay what might be considered “over the market value”.
Might go to the Widnes game next Friday to see how they go.

Not sure if he played Union, just that he played for Latchford.

Heard some good rumours today from a friend of mine who is pretty knowledgeable at Leigh.
Tom Amone is set to leave them imminently for a 1 year deal at Canterbury. However if he were to come back to the UK, he'd be really interested in playing for Sam Burgess. Very much pie in the sky talk but interesting.
John Asiata has asked for more money given that he's the club captain. Lam and Moylan are on significantly more. Leigh have said no to his request but apparently we would pay it. We're probably just a bargaining chip but could be a big signing for 2025.
