Unfortunately Sammut still feels he is a starting half and his wage request reflects that

I think he has already signed elsewhere.

I don't think Chizz is the kind of guy we need in the current happy camp we have..

Chisholm has signed for Keighley, and I think I read that Sammut was going to Midlands Hurricanes.

What again? Has the Chizzy got a thing for rejoining previous clubs?!

I can see us needing another prop fairly soon. Not sure we've replaced Rogers.

Sammut has signed for Workington which seems an odd one. Yes he will start more games, but how much can they really afford to pay which makes it worth his while? I think he used to live around the Cleckheaton area so several trips to Cumbria every week won't be cheap.

Is game time so important to him that he is willing to take the hit, or is it that he just doesn't have any other options?

Don't think i'm biased...
...i'm just very narrow minded!!!!!!!

Chisholm has retired, and Sammut has signed for Workington.

I think after the Leeds friendly, EO will know in his own thoughts what he thinks of the squads quality and depth. He's gone for alot of youth for the Hull game. So it's a good opportunity to see the strength in depth. To see if the reserves that where promoted to the first team squad, academy lads and the 2 trialists have what it takes to step up when required. Whether the Leeds game will be a similar squad as well. It gives 2 games for all those players to show if they can step up or not. You would suggest that all players would have had enough game time after the Leeds game and EO will be better placed to judge what he has at his disposal and make decisions as to whether he thinks we need to add to the squad or not. I still think we're light for cover at FB, LF, HB, HK and a Prop. But there might be players that step up in the next 2 games and show where ok in a couple of those positions.

Hull are basically bringing fringe squad players and half their academy.
