Not good enough. Others get knighted for simply doing their jobs. The whole system is a farce.

Reading further Ralph Rimmer gets an OBE. Not a system that I agree with.

I’d almost find knighthoods now insulting. They should’ve got them a couple of years back and it shouldn’t need people calling for them. The whole thing is an absolute joke! You’ll get one of you went to the right school, are from the right part of the country, you scratch the right peoples backs or if you fit the right politically correct profiling and if you don’t, forget about it.

Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield don’t need knighthoods. They’re Rugby League royalty and heroes to many many people, especially in the MND community and that comes naturally and doesn’t need to be forced.

Given Sinfield political stance would he accept a Knighthood?

Would go against his principles.

Sinfield and Burrow are bigger than needing a little title
