Think Mitch needs a good run of games. He’s good enough for Fiji. Always think the big thing a player must be able to do is tackle especially as we missed the most tackles las season I believe. At 29 he can improve why ever not. He’s almost like a new signing.

good solid pro is Mitch.As you say good defence and although not a speedster has decent pace.
Hope he gets over his injury.
Talking of Fiji ,Ratu is having a tough time at Bristol.His injury record is really holding him back.

he did miss several games due to suspensions for high tackles but the retrun for Bristol has so far been poor even though he has scored some wonderful tries

Injuries are pilling up for him. Think we may have seen the best of him. Not getting any younger as well is he 32?. Great memories of him.

Agreed on Ratu, think we saw and probably had the best from him during his time with us. It’s a shame he’s been hit with injuries like he has.

Hope that Mitch can get over the serious injury and can have a long injury free run as he seems to have been hampered with little niggley injuries and then his ACL

Yep would tend to agree with your post. I'd hope that not just the injection of new faces has changed the dynamic but also the likes of the arrival of a highly rated coach in Grix and the enthusiasm of youth also helping change happen.

Depends on how many minutes he plays, need a captain who is on the pitch as much as possible. Maybe Brown if he settles in well.

Think Sutcliffe amd Walker have a chance too
