Houghton hasn't offered much attacking threat in his entire career
Wouldn't play either and I would instead play the NZ international there

Cator needs a massively improved season or he can be shipped out for me. Im out of patience with our 'try hard but they're a bit small but they are Hull lads so escape criticism' section of the forwards.

Basically what I've been saying for ages
When was the last time I saw cator make a impact in attack ?
Genuinely can't remember him breaking the line
Gets brushed off in defence by bigger forwards ( the mcqueen running through him end of last season )
Showed me I'm not sure if he's good enough for super league
But what if there wasnt one good enough for the salary? Last thing we want is another quota player who isnt quite right stuck there on a long deal. Also its clear the club is signing younger players, so that would have ruled out someone like Moylan.

Age is irrelevant if they still got it
Likes of Jason Smith and Ellis were towards end of their careers when they signed
