I’ve nagging doubts about the physicality of our back line, though. How does Momirovski fair in that regard?
We’re still missing battle hardened, rugged forward/s, so I’m thinking it needs to be compensated in the backs.
I really want to see line speed and dominance when the season starts. That’s the platform we need for our new signings to shine.
Don’t know that much about Momirosvki but he’s a fairly big lad, I think he’s been singled out for his Rugby brain, something weve lacked for a while, weve been one of if not the dumbest team in the league for a while, im hoping him and Frawley bring a bit of brains to the team

Mom looks like the sort of player who does a lot of things well. Good size, athletic, nice passing game. My only slight concern would be the shoulder injury that kept him out till the latter part of last season. If he's past that he'll be a real asset. Put it this way, if Newman is the best centre at Leeds next season he'll have gone a long way towards fulfilling his potential.

If Mormirovski is similar to Moon he'll be just fine.
Moon was excellent defensively. Seeing him turn forwards over like backs in the tackle was a joy to watch. He used to regularly help out JJB in defence on the edges when he was blowing.

I don't worry about the physical side of our back line - Newman is pretty strong and aggressive, Mom is tall and rangy but also quick, Fus is a big boy who can put a shot on and Handley is also tall and rangy. Miller isn't massive but he looks in good condition. I'd still consider paring up Mom with Fus but that's just me.
I'm more worried about out average carry down the middle and our ability to generate momentum and field position consistently. Our back row is high on workrate but low on whack, which leaves the props and loose forward to take a lot of contact on. Goudemand, ironically, seems to have good impact at the line and will be interesting to see if Hudson is used.

To be fair that's their job and most teams second rows run the channels out wide. Our props (middles) need to stand up and prove their worth. In yerms of the back row it's more dynamism than whack that I think we lack. The other top teams back rows attack the space on the edges with Farrell who is not bigger than our complement probably the best in the league.

Holyroyd looked to have the impact we want in the middle, but was badly worn down last year both by a couple injuries and I think he also hit the wall. He played more games last year than his whole career didn’t he.
With another year under his belt, he might be more impactful, for longer.
