Whether he stays or goes I hope Leeds don’t get sucked in to overpaying him. I’m not sure he’s worth it yet and I do think the squad should be paid relatively fairly to each other.
This contract term has come around a year too soon really but it is what it is.
I suspect Harry wants to go to NRL, and will find a way eventually but it does annoy me because he just hasn’t added real value to the club yet.
I know players want the money and it’s a short career and all that, but really Harry should be loyal to Leeds and repay the faith and money the club have given him through thick and thin.

I dont buy into all that. Loyalty to a point is important but for me he achieves that by staying til the end of his contract and with the unbelievable work hes already put in to get his body on the field in very difficult circumstances.
As in anyones life and career you only get one shot and you have to do whats right for you. If the opportunity arises and he feels its right then I hope it works out for him, regardless of peoples assumptions about him he deserves some good fortune. He will also be 25 by the start of the 2025 season and for an outside back going to the NRL, any later is probably too late.
Before all that though I hope he stays injury free this year and Leeds see the best version of a very talented player.

Whilst he might have ambitions to play in the NRL and good luck to the lad. I`m not convinced his defence is good enough for the NRL and could be a bit like Gildart when he went over and was found out. I wouldn`t be at all surprised if he ends up at St Helens come 2025.

If Leeds demonstrate continued ambition to be right at the top and progression on the field that matches that I can see why another SL club would be preferable other than a big difference in the salary being offered.

As you say, just want to see the best of him this year. Nobody, even Harry, quite knows what that is as yet. If it's as good as is hoped he'll make a solid case for his NRL ambitions, and to be honest it will have to be, given the outstanding standard of competition in the NRL.

If he goes to the NRL he'll need to think very carefully about which teams to look at. Too weak and he'll get ruthlessly exposed like Gildart, too strong and he'll struggle to get a game, like Ryan Hall. For all the talk I cannot think of many NRL teams that would be looking to take a chance on him as a starter aside from cellar dwellers.

Interesting one with Harry. He's a big fish in a small pond over here. He won't be over there. Big, strong, fast athletic centres are ten a penny in the NRL.
He needs a good, injury free season over here for any NRL team to take a chance. And Leeds should put a 'first option to buy back' clause in place with any NRL club.
