You're definitely biting, this a Fans forum, facts tend to be less relevant as you should know after all this time!
The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

That’s why you’ve got to get in now. Anyway they do think they’re something special. One of their fans even commented on the club’s Facebook page to suggest that the game has been moved to Friday night by Sky!! There was another one talking about how they were looking forward to Blackpool when they were relegated. Clueless ha ha ha

Bite bite bite bite bite you can’t stop replying. That’s what comes with a massive ego thinking you’re gods gift to the championship. Stick to the facts you’re a championship club. Not good enough for superleague.

I’m sure Wakefield will have a much better season in 2024, although the bar is low as frankly they were an embarrassment to SL in 2023. Should comfortably be in the top 4 of the Championship and they should add some new interest into the Championship.
Almost certainly they will be back in SL as one of the 12 clubs based on recent IMG grading, which probably says more about the current state of the sport more than anything.

It’s been a while since Wakey were kicking around on our forum, generally to exhort us to “cut our cloth”. Looking in the mirror, I do see some similarities with how we behaved in our first year in the championship. The main differences are the img ratings backup Wakey have for this season which allows them to come out with statements like “we want to get promoted the correct way, on the field etc” knowing full well that they’ll get promoted regardless. Last season there were two full time teams, Toulouse and Fev. They finished top two, which is where Wakey should be aiming as they have continually reminded the rest of the comp that they are full time.

I’m not sure how random the fixtures actually are, but if putting on a show at the start of the championship would help with getting a broadcast deal, then the two clubs which could help Wakey get a sell out (for slightly different reasons) are Bradford and Fev. Fev vs Wakey again could be a very good gate so it’s no surprise where that is in the fixture calendar
You couldn't put together a tougher start to the season if you were doing it on purpose. The cup half-full way to look at it is that we have the sundecks nonsense to try and get rid of the cobwebs. Plus, by the time we are up to speed, some of the hardest games will be out of the way and we can aspire to a really strong finish.

Looking forward to seeing the Fev vs Wakey derby this year. Should be a cracker.
We’ll be up there or there abouts. As will Toulouse. Genuinely more exciting than the SL season.
Wakey vs Bradford is the fixture to kickstart it and it should be a brilliant game. We’ll certainly take a lot. With it being first game of the year, under the lights, big team away. Hopefully it’s a sellout and both teams put on a show. With a Bulls win.
