For clarity I mean when Max is fit again. I think he’s a great prospect and need introducing to the team when we can get him game time, which is probably on the wing given how our injury luck has been recently. I’d have him in front of Roberts and Olpherts, he’s going to be a much better player than them with the right experience.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

If this is true we should be wrapping him up in cotton wool and not rushing him back. He has his whole career in front of him so If it takes until Easter or longer so be it. So many times ACL injuries reoccur when rushed back.
Recent interview in YEP with Simpson he hopes to feature in the latter preseason games.

I read it that we have no spare cap and need one to leave to bring one in. Which brings us back in a loop that we needed Myler to go to sign Hudson and presumably we are paying approximately £50k to Myler to play for York next season.

Makes no sense that. If myler wanted to leave and break his contract why would we be paying anything, surely he either stays or we agree to terminate his contract at his request and he negotiates another with York? Theres no reason for us to be paying anything as we didn't instigate it. We wouldn't be paying 50k to York at the benefit of being able to bring in Hudson, someone needs firing if they agreed that.

It’s hard to make sense of it. I don’t buy the story
I just don’t believe Myler would walk out on approx £100k p.a for £50k to play at a lower level. Especially when he has 3 kids to pay for from an ex-partner and a new partner and child.
Also we did not sign Hudson until after Myler left, implying we had no cap space to sign Hudson.

You may be right, I’ve no idea just trying to join the dots. Given we have no spare cap now according to Rohan and I can’t believe Hudson is on the same money as Myler, it’s the only scenario that seems plausible, but I’m guessing.
