We've played Wire in plenty of finals and the last time we lost was the Lancashire Cup I believe in 1980 - the last one I missed! Fair to say I haven't been able to enjoy a single minute of any of them at the time. Some cracking matches though looking back...

I think we've played them in 9 finals since 1980 and beaten them every time :)

A little post season Treat

Plenty highlights on there considering we're not a very good attacking team according to Magic Beetle on Redvee

Watched it last night. Very very enjoyable.
Really enjoyed the end of season podcast last night too as I went for my daily walk. For me it’s a must if you are a RL fan. Hopefully the lads will continue with these during the close season.

Hi All
Yesterday the guys had the privilege of sitting down for a chat with the Legend that is Andy Gregory
His list of honours and achievements is up there with the Greatest of all time and he Truly is Rugby League Royalty
For some of the younger posters I'll list a few just to give you an idea
7 challenge cup wins
4 league titles
2 World club challenge wins (from only 2 appearances as they didn't play the WCC every year)
Played at Wembley 9 times and never lost inc a win against Australia
Played in 6 Ashes series (a joint record)
Wigan RL Hall of fame
Rugby League Hall of Fame inductee

He won 17 trophies whilst at Wigan
And an incredible stat is that he won a trophy on average every 11 games he played for Wigan

https://open.spotify.com/episode/46IIwR ... KwMvaU3amw

Hopefully you'll enjoy the listen and spread the word.
Hoping to do more 1 off interviews over the off season to give tou your weekly fill of ll things Wigan and RL

Enjoy

Hi all

Latest edition of "The Wigan Way" podcast now available

https://open.spotify.com/episode/3EG7zW ... eIRr4lNauw

A great hour interviewing Wigan & GB/England Legend Phil Clarke
Phil talks about his early years and signing for Wigan, development through the Colts and A Team and then stepping into the 1st Team at a time when some of the Greatest players ever to pull on the cherry & white were sweeping all before them
He discusses some of the great games he was involved in, his Hughes and lows and his move to Sydney Roosters in 95 and the injury that ended his career
He also discusses his post playing career, his time as CEO at Wigan 98/99 and his Commentary work with Sky for the past 20+ years

Please spread the word and as always feedback is appreciated (they've shortend/edited this one to an hour as per previous feedback)
