Nice to see Penrith taking it seriously this time, flying across the world to compete in the WORLD CLUB CHALLENGE.
Rather than the glorified friendly approach they took earlier this year, taking it into the NRL preseason challenge in front of about 8k.
Should be a great evening.

That would be perfect. I’m away on the 24th.
Can see it being Sunday though like the cronulla game.

Same here - would have been an easier sell with the missus if Wigan were playing - She's watched the Hangover films and now has a particular view of Vegas

I get the feeling the NRL games are for the Australian to show the beat of what rugby league has to offer I fear it's put a bit of a downer on proceedings if Wigan rocked up and dumped a win on penrith

Not so sure about that. Call me cynical, but I see no reason why Penrith would be more invested this year than they were by Saints. I never thought they'd come here, but as they are doing, apparently, I infer from that that for reasons of their own, they don't wish to take part in the NRL pre-season thing. Having said all that, it's a long way to come to play one game. Could they knock up a fixture against an England XIII ?
