Thankfully Pearson has finally realised the important of an experienced Head Coach rather than just an enthusiastic former assistant.

Should be in contracts if manager/coach is sacked your position also in question

If players don't like it what they gunna do ? Get a proper job ?

Players get depressed when they retire cos they have to do proper jobs and find out what the real world is about

Look at yeamo GB international etc and working in a prison!

And doing very well there too. Hard work never bothered Yeamo! nor I'd add did he get involved in the player powers stuff, he just loved playing for his home town club.

Spot on Pete. Yeamo was Mr FC through and through and never gave less than 100% for his club.
Unfortunately we've had far too many of the opposites pulling our jersey on.

I meant about life after rugby league proper jobs

Yeaman imo our best centre last 20 years working in a prison

Majority of time it's the players that are the problem not the coach

If we only learn one thing from professional football it should be that the most important player on the team is the manager.
Ferguson, Klopp and Guardiola demonstrate this point perfectly.

Ferguson agree with

But other two ( esp guardila ) are checkbook managers

Easy to be near the top when you spend nearly most money in the league

Look at likes brian noble and mcdermott struggled at other clubs after leeds and Bradford

Klopp isn't a cheque book manager if you compare his net spend and the the success he has had with other clubs.

Quite a damning read but not that surprising as we probably knew the cue was already on the rack for a long period of that season .
You could read Hodgson's face like a book .

I honestly dont think Wayne Bennett would have got a masive amount more out of the squad we had, the pack was very weak.

Tony has got to show the team is improving quickly though.
