Yes watched it. Potch starting to get them playing. Sterling was superb too. Has to be knock on England door again, Cole Palmer won’t be far off soon either, very good player. Been some brilliant games in recent weeks, best league in the world

British record fee for a 15 year old apparently. it's a bit of a blow that, he'd have been in and around first team in next couple of years. Think he's set a record at age 14 for something at England youth level too. He'd have earnt Leeds a lot more money if he'd stayed. I don't like this world of big clubs poaching kids before they are 16/17.

I hope we have something in his contract that sees us get a good return if he is sold on by City in the future. I get it that players can choose to move on. But I wish they had to wait until they were 18 before doing so, which I know will never happen. My big worry is that Liverpool seemingly will pay 40 million to get Archie Gray which shows the buying power of the top clubs.

As he's only 15, we'll get a very small percentage of any future transfer fee, as per FIFA/UEFA rules, but as he can't sign professionally we can't negotiate a sell on clause, I don't think.

Archie would be crazy to join Liverpool at this stage, he would be nowhere near first team 20 players for a good 3 years. If we get back into prem in next year or two he will have had a wealth of experience and will have been a first team regular which will make him a hugely better player. And for Leeds his value will be sky high..

That`s a shame and a bit of a bizarre rule but typifies the pull of the top teams.

I agree. Look how long it took Jack Clarke to show the promise he had when he first came on the scene.
