Good signing for you if he stays fit. Has played 52 games in 4 years with playing above 20 once in that period.

Was he signed before we let Walmsley go. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but I’m sure many clubs would have wanted Greg on their books. So when Wakefield come in for Walmsley had we already approached Greg
I’m sure Wakefield would prefer a well seasoned winger that has a great track record. Anyway well down Panthers.

We have replaced one proven try scorer with another. All round if he can stay fit i would say Greg is the better player and that is not taking anything away from Walmsley who did a cracking job for us and i would of wanted to stay. It would of been great if we could of had both of them on the wings at the same time.

Obviously the first 2 signings as squad players were never going to get people too excited but Eden is a really good signing who will score tries for fun at this level and like I just posted on TRL, its easy to argue that we have signed a better player than Walsmley he's just at the other end of his career. Strange that only yesterday he was linked to Catalans, Leigh, and Leeds so I just hope its not somehow tied in with the Leeds DR deal.

We defo need another centre and although I hate to say it, if the Widdop deal still has a chance then maybe Woody to centre, not a huge fan of that but we know he many tries he has set up previously in that position, him and Eden would make an exciting partnership.....well on attack anyway.

Are we DR with Leeds next year then Greg. If so we might get a centre on loan or DR from them.

Great signing with the only question mark being his fitness.

Heard there may still be a bit of business to do but not sure if there will be anymore incomings with having to pay Wakefield so much to take Walmsley of our hands.

Definitely need a centre - ideally would much prefer signing a specialist centre, allowing JWH to stay where he plays best.

Could have been better, could have been worse. Taking a bit of a hit compared to the clause allowed the club to get the Eden deal over the line so in that sense its really smart business by the club and a very good signing. Now the deals have been done though lets get your real feelings about the way that Wakefield and Walmsley have conducted themselves because I get the feeling this will be one thing we do agree on.

Yeah a centre is a must we have multiple players who can play most positions in the back line and we can say the same about the forwards with most of them able to cover other spots in the pack but the lack of having 2 specialists in the centre spots hit us hard last season and contributed to our awful start.

Just happy that Wakefield are letting us pay in instalments.

Strange how getting less than a clause that was only worth a few grand at best can pay for the 2 year Eden deal though. :?

No bitterness at all towards the other parties, just hope Walmsley breaks his leg and falls down the steps landing on Powell’s head.
