Looks like it was SL or busy after all. Players not been paid.

Absolute outrageous comment from their CEO.

"The club can confirm that there have been delays in dealing with this month's payroll. This was inevitable when faced with significant financial losses the club experienced following our play off semi-final"

They lost a play-off game, which happens in sport. Off-loading their squad and having to rebuild as a result of not making SL was inevitable, not being unable to pay your players.

Let's hope they get sorted.

Steve Ferres school of business at work there.

Awful statement if you're a Fev fan or player! I'd be thinking very carefully about signing a contract with Fev at this moment in time.

I went to the Fev London game.
When going in overheard someone- think it was Vickers respond to a fan who said hope your scanning a ticket next week, his response was of course we will.
Poor business to budget on the unknown.

Boom or bust approach. Very rarely works. Hope the players and staff finally get their wages sorted. We all know how this will play out...

Everyone complaining about IMG but the new structure is to stop the boom & bust approach, whether it be us, Fev, Leigh or anyone else.
They are aiming for well run well structured clubs top to bottom.

The latest statement from Mark Campbell along with ex players taking to social media to claim they haven't been paid sounds exactly like Marc Green.

I thought the same. Interesting times for Fev. I feel for their fans as I know exactly how this feels.

So do I. I don;'t want to see it happen to any club. Sounds like they are in a bad position though reading between the lines. The removal of promotion and relegation makes investing in Championship clubs much less attractive.

I know the story of them becoming Hull KR's feeder club looks like rubbish but it's clear that's the ultimate aim of the superleague clubs.

Doesn’t look good does it. They still have a strong squad although stripped back but it could easily escalate from here like it did for us.

Feel for the genuine Fev fans. The club did a good job of trying to make themselves unpopular for the last few seasons but a lot of the loud mouths have shuffled off (probably to Wakey as the new hot favourites) and the real fans are left taking the flack of bad ownership.

Good luck to them
