Thought it was the right call to rotate the squad but it didnt work at all.
I'd have brought Kamara on in the second half, think we missed him from previous games.
Feel sorry for Bamford, as its clear he really wants to score and make amends for last seasons mistakes but he should never been allowed to take that pen, hes shocking at them.

Just dour.
Looked off the pace in the first half, no consistency or effort. Second half started to turn the screw and penalty I thought was culmination of some sustained pressure finally by us. No doubt about it shouldn't have been taking that pen, he's WAY off the pace and the inevitable miss just pulled the cats tail. The crowd up, they grew another leg, our heads went down and we concede another ridiculous goal from a set piece.

Farke left it too late to make the changes too. He said Summerville can't play 3 games in a week though due to painkillers he's taking. Always going to be tough for Gruev to come into that game imo, he'd have been better getting half hour or so v Huddersfield at the weekend if we were a goal or two up. Gnonto was rusty as heck but he will get better. There were just too many changes imo. Having said that, if we score the Pen we win.
There's a pattern developing at corners and not defending near post in the air very well. Needs sorting,.

Agree with all that`s been said. Probably right to rotate the squad for a game we should be winning. Gray lost his man a few times and give the lad credit he is filling in at RB. If Farke doesn`t trust Ayling I can`t understand why he is wanting to give him another years contract. The worry is if Bamford is on the pitch in place of Piroe there`s only Summerville at a push who can take a penalty.

Not sure I would be that confident in Rutter taking one. Yes he`s scored a couple of goals in open play but he`s also fluffed far more when he can see the whites of the goalkeepers eyes. I get why Bamford wanted to take it as he needed to rid those demons. But in a game that was evenly balanced I personally think there was too much pressure. Had we been 2 up then let him take it but not to decide the 3 points imo.
