Some clubs have released statements almost immediately, Cas did so before the IMG announcement, whatever our stance on the gradings is, it's obviously not getting put out in a rush

I can't see Fax saying too much to be honest, even the most one eyed fan had to know we are a long way off SL although it would be nice if the club were to release the full gradings so we could see how we scored on the hidden stuff.
At the moment it looks like only Hunslet have revealed their full gradings and the clubs are under no obligation to do this which just makes the whole thing a bit cloak and dagger but that is to be expected with the RFL.

Even though it’s been well publicised bigger picture the game has never seen anything like this before, add that to the Champ 1 issues how each club responds is unfathomable and was what I was referring to as being of some interest.
As will closer to home what Fax have to say.
Fax as a club have said nowt and haven't since this whole ludicrous shambles started. Why would they start now?
Hear All, See All, Say Nowt. Eat All, Sup All, Pay Nowt. And if Tha ever does Owt for Nowt, Allus do it for Thissen.

That just leaves the finances so hopefully the board come out and let people know how we scored in each catogary.
7 Grade A's is a bit of a surprise as a lot of people thought there may be 4 or 5. The drop off to the B grades although just over a point is in reality huge. Wakey above Cas by so much is a surprise and Cas will not have a lot of wiggle room to improve their gradings so look like they are in real trouble. Fev been so far off a SL spot is also quite a big surprise and really not a chance they can make up nearly 2 points so it will be interesting to see what they do from here. I thought York may have done slightly better and Bradford are a touch closer than I expected but they score very well on location and have manipulated their attendances this season which they won't get away with next year so they could see a bit of a drop off. Also anyone who talked about London been somewhere near to keeping a SL place after this season is going to feel a bit silly at this point and probably should have took more time to fully understand the criteria.
Edit: Added Fev statement. https://www.featherstonerovers.co.uk/news/board-statement-img-grading-0G46k/ Fev statement pretty much pointing a direct finger at Bradford regarding attendances. I wouldn't normally agree with Fev but its been an open joke in the RL community that Bradford's attendances are less than half of what the declared figure has been for most of the season.
That is an excellent statement from Fev

Could be wrong and can’t be bothered to check but thought they had made a few statements about it in the past but in any case if they are going to say something now or in the very near future would seem to be the time period to do so with more of the details as to where they stand are being published, either way we’ll find out.

2025 will be 14 team SL and an amalgamation league of championship and league1. The game will then go further down the toilet and die altogether with the only remaining teams the ones the RFL wanted when they brought licensing in years ago.

What a shambles. Why can't Rugby League just have 2 divisions, promotion and relegation based on what happens on the pitch, nice and simple. It's not rocket science and is a tried and trusted formula adopted by other sports. Imagine if soccer went down the IMG path, they'd be ripped apart by the media.
Can see this absurd carry on ending in tears for many clubs, including Fax unfortunately.
Don't worry the 12 SL clubs will soon release a statement saying they won't be going to 14 clubs anytime soon. RFL won't be able to wrestle the votes off the SL clubs as easily as they have the Championship clubs and there is no way they would vote for a reduction in their funding.

Yep, like turkeys voting for xmas. Well, I've watched this great sport for longer than I care to remember, but ever since SL it's been a complete mess. Oh how I wish Oxley and Howes were still running the sport, they wouldn't have hauled us through this embarrassment.
Time for a complete breakaway, even though I suppose that's happened already through the back door with the "elite" pretending all this nonsense is "good for the game". I think the Fev statement sums it all up nicely.
