Guy is a joke, unfortunately for him his biased and poor journalism skills will come back to haunt him, will struggle to progress in this area and could be stuck at the HDM for either.
Think Cas' constant promise of jam tomorrow on the new stadium has finally come back to bite them. With Wakeys ground improving and Leighs grade likely to also get higher with another season in SL, not sure what they can do to stay up in the top flight in 2025. Wonder what London actually do as well, down in 24th place, next season is quite pointless for them, it'll make recruitment difficult too as players will only be signing for 1 year in SL.
Thought we would be a decent B team, but to get an A with how bad our onfield performances have been over the last few years is an outstanding effort by management and everybody who works behind the scenes at the club.

This, and when you consider the work done in reserves and academy which aren't substantively recognised, even more so.
We’ve got an A with the potential to improve even further. Not sure many other A clubs have that ability.
That said, I don’t agree with the criteria anyway. We get huge crowds in super league terms and we’re penalised due to having a bigger stadium. No credit is given for fielding academy and reserve teams. Just count the clicks instead.

Obviously pleasing to secure our status, but let's face it those seven clubs (along with Huddersfield and Leigh) were virtual shoe-ins for a SL spot, the competition (and the sport in general) simply can't prosper without them.
As long as we're one of the top twelve, that's all that really matters, although I'm sure our neighbours will be creaming themselves at scoring marginally higher than us!
It looks as though, reading the article, that Salford, Wakefield, Toulouse and Castleford will be scrapping for the remaining 2025 spots in the league. No wonder Cas sound worried by these developments.

I think Leigh might be in trouble - they’re unlikely to get the bonus for winning the cup again.
Most likely scenario seems to be Toulouse replace London and the trio of Leigh, Cas and Wakey are left contending for the two remaining spots for 2025.

Maybe the leopard rebrand has boosted Leighs engagement and viewing figures...another season playing in super league will further boost their score. Wakey have the benefit of winning the championship and possibly the 1895 cup, can see Cas missing out in 2025 unfortunately

Beaumont will go ballistic if Leigh are downgraded to non-SL status! His rants about the video ref, officialdom and general running of the game as a whole will be nothing compared to his reaction to Leigh being booted out.
I wouldn't like to be the one who had to break that news to him! We will probably be able to hear him in Hull nevermind anywhere else!
