Well played England thought they were going to get overpowered in the middle but stood up to the test.
Good to see the entertaining version of the code after last nights dross.
Despite the obvious I'm pleased for Lewis. He has bravely admitted he has struggled with his mental health in the past but manged to overcome his problems and achieve his ambition of playing for his country.
I like the way he showed some real emotion in that interview rather than the usual platitudes.

Very moving. Wonderful and refreshing to see - take a bow Mikey.
The game is about pace especially at half back and Lewis is difficult to handle because of his pace, step and his small size sometimes makes him difficult to tackle.Played well and deserved MOM England got lucky from that knock on which was not given and resulted in a try for Johnstone but defended well and overall deserved to win. If the pitches become firmer at Hudds and leeds think Tonga will win both the remaining matches

Tonga aren't as good as 2017 when had players like Taoumalolo , Michael jennings, fifita etc
But will be better for England playing these as opposed to France
Lewis played well but still think Williams and lomax are infront of him for a England shirt

Tonga might have been weakened, but so where England.
Young, Farnworth, Williams and Wardell would have played if fit. Add in Walmsley and Thompson too.
That's 6 players that would probably be in the 17.
No idea how Bateman gets in, particularly over Farrell, I'd have KKP in front of him too. Same goes for Chris Hill, decent player, but there are younger players as good if not better than him now.
