Would I be wrong to say I had a pair in the 70’s? They were so light and soft, believe they were made from goat kid leather and lasted for years and screw in studs.

Not really though they were probably more continental at that time, think it was when Patrick got Kevin Keegan on board at the start of the 80's that introduced the UK to Patrick boots more widely/commercially.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
"I've only seen them both very briefly, and I'll know more tonight, but alt kit is dark near top, white for the torso, with a very nice gold dividing strip in a downward V and on sleeve cuffs. Main jersey is largely black off the top of my head. It's Castore as the new manufacturer and I just remember glancing at them and thinking - 'they look class"

Bad experience with Patrick boots. First time I wore them was at a games lesson at Branny High. I forgot to put then in my kit bag and some scallywag pinched them.

Forty years on and it still hurts to this day !
Puma kings where beyond my wildest dreams.
Also forgot to mention my adidas original blue zipped tracky top was taken in the same heist.
I was going to report it to Ged Dunn but I didn't think he'd be bothered because he knew I was a Hull fan.
And they say school days are the best days of your life. Absolute bollox

Ged Dunn had a nice blue Adidas tricky top when I was at Branny. Just saying
Someone nicked my Patrick boots when I was at Biggin Hill after a game. Hand me downs from my brother. Padded ankles on them as well. Still painful to talk about!
