Certainly answered the critics (I hold my hand up). Made a real impact with some tough carries and we missed him when he was out. He does have a mistake in him but I'll take the rough with the smooth.

Apparently next year is likely to be his last. I hear he's got back problems so I hope he and the club manage them. When he and Taufua are on the field we are a different proposition.

I was definitely in the same camp and thought it was a very uninspiring signing. Whilst he's had the odd mare (was it against Fax everything he did turned to crap?) he has been pleasant surprise.

Certainly gives 100% and the mistakes often come from him trying a bit too hard e.g. to make an impossible offload.

Blackmore has been a surprise package this season. Initially considered an underwhelming signing, he has emerged as a reliable winger and a definite mainstay in the first team. His determination to achieve hard yards can often lead to a mistake but on the whole he produces some good go forward and supports the pack in gaining some hard yards.

all of the above

not only his willingness to help out making hard yards giving forwards a breather, but its the yardage he makes after contact even against opposition forwards which (from watching matches and highlights) gets us on the front foot early in a set

He’s had a very good season, returns the ball strongly and gets the team on the front foot. I thought he was always a handful when he played against us in previous seasons. Hope he stays fit in his farewell season.
