The bit i don't understand is, he as a super league release clause in his contract so why are Wakefield offering him a deal when they have been relegated. Wigan offered him a deal when he was at whitehaven but he turned it down because they wanted him to spend a saeon on loan at Newcastle and he didn't want to and that is when fax came in. I wonder if they would still be interested and maybe we could have one of there props on a season long loan in return.

Wakefield not being a SL club is the bit Fax are disputing regarding the release clause.
From Wakefields point of view they want him and are trying to unsettle him which they have done in making the approach and it would seem that with them being full time Wombat thinks this could be a step closer to him realizing his dream of playing in SL.
One factor will be how Wakefield have made the approach, was it to Fax or directly to Wombat which if it was to him could even be an illegal approach to a contracted player.
Either way Fax can either accept he wants to go to avoid any internal fallout and distraction insist on a fee their entitled to or say no you'll have to see your contract out and then it will be down to Lachlan on how he reacts and if he honours it or not.
