Whatever happens the players and coaching staff deserve a great deal of credit for getting us to the grand final- never thought in a million years we’d get to it this season! Just got to play like we have in the last two games! COYB!!
Rise like Lions after slumber In unvanquishable number-- Shake your chains to earth like dew Which in sleep had fallen on you-- Ye are many -- they are few.'
We have a 50/50 chance here, but like everyone else, I fear for us is were in SL next year
EDIT. If David Hughes isn't going to bankroll the marketing of the side/team/club because he either isn't willing to or just resents having to promote the game rather than the RFL, then maybe IMG should look at going "all in" and buying him out? Currently, they have no "skin in the game" and can walk away from the strategic partnership at any stage. This isn't an ideal situation, because they currently have to get the majority of the clubs to agree to any of their proposals, but if were to take over the London Broncos as a 10 year plan, I believe we'd see a London Club with 10,000 fans inside 5 years. Alas, the other SL chairmen can't see past the £30,000 a year "each set of away fans" bring to their clubs, but not London, Toulouse or Catalans, so I doubt they'd be prepared to gamble on letting IMG build London up. So the reality is that if we win in Toulouse, we'll get a 2k average for 11 Games in SL and head straight back down to the championship in 2025, so it might be better if we lose and consolidate our position and make the effort to go up the year after when it looks likely the trap-door is closing.
Not counting chickens yet but if London were to win, they are saying there is no definate relegation from Super League next season so surely the time is right for IMG to take over London.Buy Hughes out and I said on this forum years ago, pick a few good experienced players from NRL with some of their top new players from the NRL and tap the Aussie market in London.
When playing at the Stoop in the glory days in the nineties there were a lot of Aussies in the crowd.

It's an interesting thought and particularly pertinent given the absolute dumpster fire that is League 1. I'm sure IMG have had an eye on the Broncos future and what Hughes might be thinking long term, as there will eventually come a point where he has to stop/walk away.

I think there’s a rogue ‘not’ missing from your second sentence! Seriously L1 is a mess. They are talking about conferences now but whilst getting to London may be a hassle, getting to Cornwall is more than that especially for teams in Cumbria and if TO are in the league how can they expect any PT teams with minimal funding to wear the expense of getting there (by airplane) and staying overnight.

Should we beat Toulouse, our home games will be on a Thursday night.
Little surprised the boys flew out Saturday rather than Friday, just hope they are fully prepared.
