You would have got massive odds of this happening when he went on loan to the Championship at the start of the season. Seems a good guy and it’s a great story when a lot of fans wrote him off and probably the reason he got the vote ahead of French.

I wasn’t on my own in wondering if we could move him on early in the season, to make way for a prop. At the time that seemed sensible and it now some like total insanity. He’s been absolutely fantastic and it’s really pleasing to see him getting these awards. He seems a really good lad.

I remember I kept saying, “to be a good winger you need good carries, good under the high ball and good at finishing. Miski is only good at the first thing”

To be fair, there would've been plenty of people doubting his ability under the high ball after that first game against Toulouse!

Definitely. I thought he was excellent again on Saturday. He doesn't run the ball that often (basically because that isn't in the gameplan by the looks of things) but when he does, he's always a threat.
He should be following up that award with the Superleague award tomorrow night (even if Wilkin did actually let the words come out of his mouth on Sky that it should be Thewlis and if not him, then Nicholson deserves it).

despite the frustration when he went to Wire would anyone now swap Nicholson for Nsemba
