If you are looking at our UK born players and those we have brought through our academy, then Dalton is the oldest (33). The next oldest is Will (30). The core of the team we could have moving forward still has a lot of time on it's side.

Apart from the fact that anyone showing promise ends up at the outer regions of the universe. See Hodson at 26 has ended up at Cas. There is little evidence we will fight that hard to keep them.

We’ve done our first bit of recruitment with Robbie Storey from Keighley a promising young centre.

Fairly happy with that, looks a decent prospect. Keighley's top try and points scorer this season and bagged their "Rising Star Award".

I guess a centre is definitely headed out the door.

Dean heading back to France with Pia once our season is completed according this article.

Might be something lost in translation, but Pia referring to it as an "extension" on their part.

Depends if he wants a break between seasons, he could play the winter in pia, then look for a UK contract. Looks like he has an agreement to go back to them, could work well for us, bring him.back next year

Does playing for Carcassonne mean he is exempted from the Northern Mummy's Boy test? He doesn't seem to stay anywhere for long unless all 1 year contracts though.

Well, if we play next week like we did at fev, recruitment issue ramps up. Promotion is a double edge sword, majority of our squad is P/T how many could step up to SL standard, how many would want to or be able to commit full time!? Majority of current squad could be playing themselves out of contention for next year

You would think it would be something the club had planned and made consideration for, no matter how unlikely it may have seemed at the season start.

Perhaps the answer would be some sort of hybrid model, with a small core of full timers supplemented by those who can't make the move into a full-time environment. Bradford did something similar not too long ago, as did Toulouse before they went full-time across the board.

I think the broader issue would be more on incoming recruitment than our existing playing group. It would be difficult to make top flight quality pickups at this time of year, so I guess we would be reliant on SL loans/dual reg and players from the lower grades down under.

Ultimately, it's an issue I would quite like to be worrying about after 80 minutes on Sunday!

Something the club planned and made provision for hmmmmmm you do know this is london broncos we are talking about. If, and I have a funny feeling in my water, we win the game next week, then we will but shouldn't be heading up into SL half cooked.
